XtalPi Unit, Stanford University Sign Drug Discovery Collaboration; Shares Rise 9%

XtalPi (HKG:2228) said its wholly owned subsidiary, LCC Technologies, has entered into a drug discovery collaboration with Stanford University, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The collaboration will combine Stanford's disease biology research with LCC Technologies' automated and AI-driven small-molecule discovery platform to develop potential new therapies.
Shares of the firm were up nearly 9% in Friday morning trade.
