Zhongyu Energy Holdings Limited disclosed a share repurchase conducted on 17 September 2026, reinforcing its ongoing capital-management programme authorised by shareholders on 26 June 2026.

The company bought back 500,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 2.58 to HKD 2.665, equivalent to a volume-weighted average price of approximately HKD 2.64 per share. The aggregate consideration amounted to HKD 1.32 million. All repurchased shares have been retained as treasury stock; none were cancelled.

Following the transaction, Zhongyu Energy’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) declined by 0.0186% to 2.69 billion, while treasury shares rose to 58.54 million. The total issued share capital remains unchanged at 2.75 billion shares.

Including this latest buyback, the company has repurchased 15.84 million shares under the current mandate—representing 0.59% of the 2.70 billion shares outstanding when the mandate was granted—and retains authority to repurchase up to 270.56 million shares in total.

In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, Zhongyu Energy is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 17 October 2026, 30 days after the repurchase date.
