Bank of Guizhou (06199) has announced that it received regulatory approval on September 18, 2026, for the appointment of Mr. Wen Zhichao as an independent non-executive director. The National Financial Regulatory Administration's Guizhou Regulatory Bureau has officially endorsed his qualification, and his term will extend until the conclusion of the fourth board of directors' mandate.

In a related development, the board has accepted the resignation of Ms. Sun Li, an independent non-executive director, effective immediately. Citing work-related reasons, Ms. Sun has stepped down from her roles as independent non-executive director, chairperson of the audit committee, as well as her positions on the nomination and remuneration committee, compliance management committee, and the ESG management and consumer protection committee.

These changes mark a significant governance shift for the bank as it continues to align its leadership with regulatory standards and internal strategic priorities.
