MAXNERVA TECH (01037) has announced the appointment of Bytes Finance Limited as its independent financial adviser, according to a company filing. The firm, a licensed corporation authorized under the Securities and Futures Ordinance for Type 1 (dealing in securities) and Type 6 (advising on corporate finance) regulated activities, will provide counsel to the independent board committee regarding the offer. Its role includes offering recommendations to independent shareholders on whether the share offer is fair and reasonable and whether to accept it, as well as advising option holders on its perspective concerning the option offer.
