Bank of Guizhou Proposes Capital Raise of Up to 2.473 Billion Domestic Shares and 43,900 H Shares

Bank of Guizhou (06199) has announced a proposal to bolster its capital base, aiming to strengthen its capital adequacy ratio to meet regulatory requirements and enhance its risk resilience capabilities.

In a board resolution dated September 18, 2026, the bank recommended issuing up to 2.473 billion domestic shares and up to 43,900 H shares to qualified subscribers under a special mandate. The net proceeds from this issuance, after deducting related issuance expenses, will be entirely allocated to supplement the bank's core tier-1 capital.

The proposed issuance will be carried out pursuant to a special mandate. The bank plans to convene an extraordinary general meeting and class meetings to seek shareholder approval for the grant of this special mandate to proceed with the issuance.
