AK Medical Executes Minor Share Buyback, Adds 30,000 Shares to Treasury

AK Medical Holdings Limited disclosed that it repurchased 30,000 ordinary shares on 18 September 2026 through on-market transactions at HKD 4.865 per share, bringing the cash consideration to HKD 145,950.

Following the transaction, the company’s outstanding share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell marginally to 1.08 billion shares, a 0.0028% reduction from the previous day’s level of 1.08 billion shares. Concurrently, treasury shares increased to 32.52 million, while total issued shares remained unchanged at 1.11 billion.

The repurchase formed part of a mandate approved on 17 June 2026 that authorises the company to buy back up to 112.46 million shares. Cumulatively, 48.08 million shares—equivalent to 4.28% of the issued share base on the mandate’s approval date—have been repurchased under this authority. A 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales remains in effect until 18 October 2026 in line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules.

Board authorisation and regulatory compliance for the repurchase were confirmed in the filing.
